I have no real feelings one way or the other so am putting this one in the middle. It's fun to hate on some of these characters. And there was *one* part that I didn't quite see coming. Now, I've said this before and I still stand by it - even if a story is predictable, it can still be very enjoyable and this is definitely an entertaining read. A lot of coincidences happening here, (for me) very predictable and a storyline you're used to if you read a lot of thrillers. In a nutshell, if you like thrillers on the lighter side with dual timelines and more than one POV, this is the book for you! The plot does move at a quick pace and it's an easy one-sit binge read. You all have probably been wondering what's happening with me this month as I've mostly read genres OTHER than thrillers but here I am y'all!! □ This is my second by this author, the first being We Were Mothers, and I have basically the same feelings.
